As usual, I regret not taking more "story of the day" type stuff *around* the event itself but managed to squeeze a few in here chronologically. It was a whirlwind of good times staying at the fanciest hostel I've ever seen, sneaking in a lovely dinner, meeting up with Chris (not pictured! See what I'm talking about?!), heading to the Banc *ahem* sorry BMO Stadium to see... Blink-182?! They're selling out stadiums for stupid ticket prices OK gotcha, we're old... Destroy Boys and Turnstile opened up, both very cool. Reunion of the original lineup (or originally famous, anyway) and Tom even sang *two* Skiba songs. Everyone sounded great, was funny and stupid, and we got a Kardashian baby announcement too. Back downtown for a nightcap at an overpriced, vibey dive. French/Japanese fusion cafe brunch and a trip to the Museum of Death (no photos allowed, for obvious reasons) capped a truly Los Angeles [when will you save me] weekend.
