Vienna Albertina

My first time in town, I checked out the Leopold and mumok, so this time (after the Kunsthistorisches) I figured the Albertina was next up. Didn't know much beyond the branding leaning modern, to my eye. Turns out the exhibitions were up my street: a Lisette Model photography retrospective, Leiko Ikemura paintings and sculpture, and gothic works by Dürer and Van Gogh. Oh, and some very lavish staterooms! The impressionist works were famous, but it's maybe my least favorite period, so sorry if you like that stuff. 🐇🎨💀
